Community Supporter:
Eastern Football League Umpires Association
Since 2006 the EFL Umpires Association have been supporting the Spiders, and it is an association we are extremely proud of.
Our home games have been the benchmark for years and it is due to the wonderful support of the EFLUA who donate their time and deliver the highest level of professionalism when umpiring Spiders games.
Also, the match payments the EFLUA receive from the VFFL are donated back to the club; a wonderful gesture.
Each year the Spiders join with the umpires at a training session and stay on for a barbeque afterward. It is a great initiative and one our players look forward to each year. It has given them a great understanding and appreciation of what it takes to be an umpire. Our sincere thanks to all at EFLUA for their support.
